Staying Connected While Protecting Your Team’s Hearing

Those who work in noisy environments but also use radios are often faced with a difficult choice — protect your hearing or receive the communication required to do your job. With dB Blockers + dB Com by Protect Ear, safety managers no longer need to choose between effective hearing protection and keeping crew members connected.

dB Com How It Works

dB Blockers + dB Com: How it Works

Today, the most common industrial hearing protection options are foam earplugs and earmuffs that completely block sound… and only if they’re worn correctly. Aside from user error when using these hearing protection options, the other key disadvantage is that you can’t wear them if you use a communication device on the job.

That’s where dB Blockers + dB Com come in.

dB Blockers are industrial hearing protection that perfectly fit each individual’s unique ears, leading to less risk of incorrect use and an overall more comfortable, effective hearing protection. In addition to being fully custom-fit, dB Blockers also have a variety of style options that enable radio use.

Using one of our many cords, radio sound is fed directly into the ear through a filtered vent, allowing you to have the best of both worlds: hearing the sounds you need while blocking out the ones you don’t.
